Smart Resume Writing

At the resume website I chose to look at the article dealing with job hopping. I never knew that the more jobs you have the less reliable or loyal you look to a hiring manager. The article dealing with job hopping explains great ways to make your resume look like u are more qualified. Some of the tips they gave were not bulleting your jobs. Instead of listing every job it is a better idea to give a summary or collecetion of the skills you picked up at each job. When you are creating the summary it is important to make connections between each skill to create a story. Another way to explain your many jobs, if this pertains to you, is to describe if there was a merging between companies where your current job changed names. This shows the hiring manager that you were loyal to your past companies and that you did not switch a job. Job hopping does slow the search process down, but if you have the right ideas on how to persuade and represent yourself acurately there is nothing to worry about.
